ARTE with New and Extended Presence at Reeperbahn Festival Hamburg
ARTE goes Reeperbahn Festival – and hosts an inspirational get-together in Hamburg to discuss challenges and visions for Europe's music scene.
As part of a new collaboration with Reeperbahn Festival – Europe’s biggest club festival and conference taking place in Hamburg from 17–20 September – ARTE will host the ARTE HAPPY HOUR at “Alte Liebe” (Spielbudenplatz) on 18 September, 19:00–20:30, designed as an inspirational get-together aimed at Europe’s music scene and industry.
Ahead of the networking part with bites and drinks, there will be an impulse panel addressing issues around the needs, perspectives and visions of a European music platform. IMZ President Laetitia Huberti (Head of La Première, Musiq3, Classic 21, La Trois at RTBF – Belgian Public Radio & Television / Belgium) will contribute to this panel as well as Wolfgang Bergmann (IMZ Board, CEO of ARTE Germany and ARTE Coordinator at ZDF). Dr. Carsten Brosda, Hamburg’s Senator for Culture and Media, and Leona Walter (Senior Artist & Label Manager Bamboo Artists / Product Management Zartmann, Sampagne, Aaron) will also take part in the discussion moderated by Shila Behjat (ZDF/ARTE).
The ARTE Happy Hour will lead directly to the ARTE Concert event right next door at Docks with emerging artist Kelvin Jones pres. Mupani.
All Reeperbahn Festival conference ticket holders have access to the event (limited space, first come first attend) and the concert. If you are interested in getting a personal invitation, drop a line to arte-events@zdf.de by 15 September.
ARTE will debut as the official media partner of Reeperbahn Festival. The festival with 45,000 attendees (600 trade visitors) and 800 single events in 70 different venues will celebrate its 20th edition under the motto “Imagine togetherness.”
