Ariane Gray Hubert
A singer, songwriter, concert pianist and composer, Ariane Gray Hubert is a much acclaimed innovative artist.
Over the years, she has delighted audiences & critics all over the world with her performances, be it piano - vocal solo recitals or with various music ensembles. In her orchestral compositions, she blends both eastern & western traditions in a unique manner. Born in Paris, French American, she received her musical training from the renowned Russian, Austrian & French piano traditions to the rich oral musical traditions of the East. The distinctive characteristics of the artist combine playing & singing in expressive ways, her unique improvisation along with contrasted rhythmical ideas & her inspiration from ancient oral traditions. She performed for international venues such as Radio France, Musée d’Orsay, Opera Bastille, Unesco, the Vatican to name a few & for various festivals abroad. She played her music “La Note Bleue” to commemorate the bicentenary of F. Chopin. The artist received high accolades at the prestigious Music Academy Chennai, NCPA Mumbai, Delhi, Calcutta, Pune & has performed live for various TV channels. Her eastern - western ensembles include her much acclaimed trio “PIANO RAG(a) TIME” & “IVRE D’AMOUR” (2016) promoting peace & unity among nations. Ariane has received several commissions & composed music for international productions, such as the ballet "When The Gods Meet" for the renowned dancer, Dr Mansingh.
