"Love is All Around" is the motto of this concert by famous violinist and entertainer André Rieu. In the charming and picturesque atmosphere of the Vrijthof square, Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra have invited numerous international soloists to perform alongside them. Together they create a magical and memorable experience of love and joy through stunning sets, colourful costumes, special effects, and incredible music.

With a diverse repertoire that spans classical, operatic, and popular music, featuring well-known melodies, film scores, and of course waltzes, this is a wonderful experience for both classical music lovers and those who are new to the genre, ending with a spectacular firework display. The numerous highlights include world hits such as Ballade pour Adeline, Can’t Help Falling in Love, Volare, Boleró, An der schönen blauen Donau and Highland Cathedral with around 300 bagpipers. The emotional highlight of the concert was the French ESC title Voilà sung by the extraordinary 15- year-old singer Emma Kok, who moved the audience to tears and went viral on the internet.
