The prestigious International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) has unveiled its winners for the 2024 edition, honoring outstanding achievements in classical music across various categories. Among the esteemed awardees is Paul Smaczny's captivating documentary When Music Resounds, The Soul Is Spoken To – Herbert Blomstedt, which clinched the top spot in the category "Video: Performance & Documentary."

Jury President Remy Franck expressed delight in the diverse selection of winners, chosen from a pool of 375 remarkable productions. The jury of the ICMA states: "Others would have retired 30 years ago. At the age of 96, Herbert Blomstedt keeps going. This brilliant documentary gives you more than an inkling why.
