Chris Hunt's film for Stanza Media 'Abba Silver, Abba Gold' has just won Gold for Best Music Documentary at New York Film and TV Awards.

On 16 April 2024 at the prestigious New York Film and TV Festivals it was announced that Chris Hunt's film Abba Silver, Abba Gold was the winner of the Gold Award for Best Music Documentary of the year, against a very large international field. Hunt is a multiple winner of this award. It is an up-to-date telling of Abba's story featuring interviews and other filming Hunt has done with every member of the group, as well as being a feast of their greatest music. It had already proved a ratings winner; now it has achieved the tricky feat of being acclaimed for both its popularity and its quality. It has just also won the top, Platinum, award at Worldfest Houston, the biggest of the US competitions. So Abba Silver Abba Gold has now won Gold and Platinum.
