The celebrated mezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča and the new Intendant Matthias Schulz, who will be at the helm of the opera house from the 2025/26 season onwards, will transport the audience into a world of songs and arias with works by Mendelssohn, Berlioz, Brahms, Schumann, and other Romantic and late-Romantic composers.

The two musicians share a long-standing collaboration, and their recitals continue to delight audiences across Europe. This recital therefore promises to be a deeply personal and inspiring season opener at the Opernhaus Zürich.
