Deutsche Grammophon, ORF and SCARLATTI Arts International proudly presents the TV opening concert of the International Baroque Days at Melk Abbey 2025, titled Magnificat - Masterpieces by J.S. Bach and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. This exceptional 80-minute production showcases profound settings of the Magnificat by both Johann Sebastian Bach and his son, performed in the stunning setting of Melk Abbey, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The concert is led by the internationally acclaimed conductor Pablo Heras-Casado, known for his dynamic interpretations and exceptional artistry. The performance features outstanding ensembles: the esteemed Concentus Musicus Wien orchestra and the Collegium Vocale 1704 choir, rehearsed by Václav Luks.
