54TH GOLDEN PRAGUE 2017 – COMPETITION NEWS UPDATE
The festival competition has been launched on 1 April 2017 and Golden Prague is currently accepting sumbissions.
Have a look at this „rough guide“ to this year’s Golden Prague:
You can enter your programmes in two categories:
1) Documentary programmes dedicated to music, dance and theatre
2) Performing Arts
Please note: Only programmes produced after 15 April 2016 will be accepted for competition.
Maximum number of programmes per entrant: unlimited
Maximum total length of all programmes entered by a single entrant: unlimited
Minimum length of each programme: 5 minutes
The deadline for programme submission: 30 June 2017
What are the awards and prizes?
The Grand Prix GOLDEN PRAGUE (10.000 EUR), a CZECH CRYSTAL Documentary programmes dedicated to music, dance and theatre, a CZECH CRYSTAL Performing Arts, and a SPECIAL MENTION for extraordinary artistic achievement. Dagmar and Václav Havel’s VIZE 97 FOUNDATION PRIZE (5.000 EUR) and CZECH TV PRIZE will also be awarded.
Who decides?
The International Jury presided by Chairman Bernhard Fleischer (Germany). The Jury members are (in alphabetical order): John Bridcut (United Kingdom), Danica Dolinar (Slovenia), Silvia Hroncová (Czech Republic), and Miikka Maunula (Finland).
