275th Anniversary of P. D. Q. Bach
Igudesmann & Joo's Big Nightmare Music
The 1st of April 2017 marks the 275th anniversary of the Bach family’s “only forgotten son”: P. D. Q. Bach. Let us celebrate the birthday of the most underestimated of all composers - the genius, who brought us the “Little Nightmare Music” - with Igudesmann & Joo’s “Big Nightmare Music”.
When Igudesman and Joo perform with an orchestra, the musical nightmares take on epic proportions! Experience perennial favourites like Mozart Bond, Alla Molto Turca and Cleaning vs. Riverdancing amped up for a full-blown orchestra. But on top of priceless adaptations of pieces from their original duo show, “BIG Nightmare Music” boasts several uproarious sketches tailor-made for a symphony orchestra, drawing everyone into their act, from the first violinist to the last percussionist.
