Until 25 December: Free CD/DVD edition with Kirill Petrenko and Beethoven’s Ninth.
On 23 August, Kirill Petrenko took over the position of chief conductor of the Berliner Philharmoniker with a performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony that was acclaimed by press and public alike. One day later, the orchestra and conductor presented the work in an open-air concert at the Brandenburg Gate with an audience of 35,000 delighted Berliners.
An edition now documents the concert from the Philharmonie on CD and the concert from the Brandenburg Gate on DVD.
Order a 12-month Digital Concert Hall ticket by 25 December for €149. The CD/DVD edition will then be sent to you free of charge from 6 December in a high-quality gift box.
The edition is limited to 2,000 copies and is not available commercially.
