MARIA CALLAS A TRIBUTE CONCERT IN ATHENS - 2018

In 2018, France3 will propose a tribute concert to Maria Callas with international opera stars, on the stage of the Herodion Theatre in Athens’ acropolis.

An exceptional music event, a tribute concert to Maria Callas reflecting the opera legend she represents worldwide to music lovers and to mainstream audiences.

France Televisions and Morgane Production are proud to present this concert at the UNESCO World Heritage Site. With the Greek National Opera of Athens Orchestra, a Greek choir and international stars such as Ermonela Jaho, Pretty Yendé, Joseph Calleja, Bryn Terfel, Javier Camarena, Thomas Hampson, Jean-François Borras, Christina Poulitsi, Myrto Papatanasiu and Tassis Christoyannis for 120 minutes of live performance.
