Jerusalem Chamber Music Festival 2016

Live from Jerusalem. From September 8-10, 2016, Accentus together with ZDF/Arte is streaming live from the Jerusalem International Chamber Music Festival.

Every year in September, the Jerusalem International Chamber Music Festival and its musical director Elena Bashkirova invite the most renowned as well as up-and-coming chamber musicians from Israel and all over the world to play the most wonderful yet also challenging chamber music programs at the YMCA Jerusalem. Among the artists of this year’s festival, which – now in its 19th year – runs from September 1 to 10, are Kirill Gerstein, Menahem Pressler, Francois Leleux, Emanuel Pahud, Julian Steckel, Baiba Skride, many, many others, and of course Elena Bashkirova herself.

Accentus Music, in co-production with ZDF and in co-operation with Arte Concert, will be streaming live from the YMCA Jerusalem from September 8 to 10, the festival’s last three days. The concert programs include works by Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Brahms and Reger. Join us for three days of exciting concerts with some of the most excellent musicians!
