Three operas in one evening: Giacomo Puccini's triptych juxtaposes three independent short operas side by side: the tragedy Il tabarro, the lyrical Suor Angelica and the comedy Gianni Schicchi. Director Tobias Kratzer preserves Puccini's original sequence of works and connects the three operas in his production. Conductor Alain Altinoglu interprets the three works musically.
