ICMA and Luzerner Sinfonieorchester announce terrific programme for the Gala Concert on 10 May 2019.
The International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) and the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester have announced the programme of the ICMA Gala Concert which will take place on 10 May 2019 at the iconic KKL Luzern with eight soloists, one chamber duo and the orchestra conducted by American conductor Lawrence Foster as well as by the Finnish Maestro Leif Segerstam.
The concert will feature pianists Nelson Freire (Lifetime Achievement Award), Javier Perianes (Artist of the Year), and Eva Gevorgyan (Discovery Award), bassoonist Matko Smolcic (Young Artist of theYear), soprano Albina Shagimuratova, violinists Chouchane Siranossian and Stephen Waarts, cellist Christoph Heesch as well as the Duo Tabea Zimmermann & Denes Varjon.
