08 SEPT 2021: medici.tv, the world's leading classical music channel, will broadcast the Leeds International Piano Competition 2021 live to audiences around the globe!

medici.tv, the world's leading classical music channel, is proud to be the official webcast partner of the 2021 Leeds International Piano Competition! medici.tv, therefore, launched a dedicated website for live performances and replays of the competition to be broadcast live to audiences around the globe free of charge.

The Leeds has launched the careers of some of the greatest pianists of our time. For the 2021 edition, successful candidates from Round 1 compete in front of the 14 jury members in Leeds through individual and collaborative rounds. On this occasion, medici.tv launched a dedicated website in four languages (English, Russian, Corean and Chinese) at https://leedspiano.medici.tv/ to will allow fellow music lovers to follow the competition from its first round to the Awards ceremony!

On this dedicated website, the competition’s First Round — in which 24 pianists from 18 different countries were selected to compete in the successive rounds — is available on replay, followed by the live broadcast of the Second Round, Semi Finals, Finals and Awards Ceremony on 8-18 September 2021. These final rounds will feature solo work, chamber music performances and a concerto finale with the world-renowned Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. All replays will be available until September 19th, 2024.

For the second time, medici.tv’s collaboration with the Competition marks its commitment to supporting young and talented musicians and accompany them in their rise to success by putting them under the spotlight internationally!
