The coronavirus affects many events planned for the Beethoven anniversary year 2020. Some project partners and organisers now provide digital offers.

Nobody expected this. In the Beethoven anniversary year 2020, of all years, the Corona crisis ensures that numerous projects and events planned for such a long time cannot take place. Until the end of August, no major events will be held in North Rhine-Westphalia or anywhere else in Germany.
In order to bridge the missing months, there is only one thing that helps: to make as much culture as possible available online and transfering it to the internet. For this reason, some organizers of BTHVN2020 have already prepared their program digitally.
