Blu-Ray:
Sophie Pacini & Martha Argerich
A very special duo concert of two outstanding pianists who enjoy a close personal and artistic friendship.
Martha Argerich, honorary member of the Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft, is considered as one of the greatest pianists of our time. Her playing inspires with enormous lyrical sensitivity, temperament and captivating brilliance. Sophie Pacini, on the other hand, has been praised by critics and loved by her fans for her 'effectful, but never affected piano playing': Her soft touch and the shivering, glistening trebles are uncomparable. Pacini plays piano for two main reasons: because she always wanted to share her own passion for music with other people all over the world, and second, because she is making music for her own soul. An intimate and lightning personal and artistic friendship connects Sophie Pacini with Martha Argerich, who has now become her personal musical mentor. The two female pianists fill the digital concert hall with festive splendor on four hands with works by Mozart and Liszt.
