2025 SF Dance Film Festival: Call for Submissions
Now Accepting Submissions for the 2025 San Francisco Dance Film Festival.
Calling all dance filmmakers! The San Francisco Dance Film Festival (SFDFF) is now accepting submissions for its internationally acclaimed 2025 festival. Whether you’re an emerging creator or an established filmmaker, this is your chance to showcase your work on a global stage.
As one of the world’s leading dance film festivals, SFDFF celebrates bold, evocative storytelling through movement. We welcome dance-based films of all lengths, genres, styles, and budgets — seeking work that pushes creative boundaries and leaves a lasting impact.
The 2025 Festival will take place November 5–9 in San Francisco, California, featuring in-person screenings, panels, live performances, and networking opportunities for industry professionals. Virtual programming will also be available via our streaming partner, MarqueeTV. Selected films will be eligible for independent jury awards.
Submissions are open now! Regular deadline: April 16. Late deadline: May 8.
