The prestigious Besançon International Competition for Young Conductors will be chaired by Yutaka Sado, winner of the competition in 1989 and one of the most exciting and charismatic conductors of his generation.

Yukata Sado will conduct a concerto for violin and orchestra by Jean Sibelius, and the Symphonie Fantastique by Hector Berlioz at the Ledoux Theatre, where he won the Grand Prix.
