Available now on STAGE+, a rare opportunity to hear Wynton Marsalis’ monumental symphony for jazz orchestra, symphony orchestra and choir, and his final performance of the work in his capacity as Artistic Director of Jazz at Lincoln Center. Performed as the opening concert at this year’s Edinburgh International Festival, featuring the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the Jason Max Ferdinand Singers, the Edinburgh Festival Chorus, and conducted by James Gaffigan.
Extended version, including wraparound content featuring interviews with the artists, coming to Mezzo, JazzLive and Sky Arts this Autumn.
