The IMZ at Golden Prague: Boards, Panels + Awards
The 59th edition of Czech Television’s International Festival will see us return once again for numerous events.
With the Golden Prague International Television Festival just around the corner, the IMZ is very much looking forward to another amazing industry gathering! It is indeed a momentous occasion for us: For starters, our newly-elected board will attend an inaugural meeting alongside the outgoing board and elect a President, three Vice Presidents and a Treasurer to lead us through the 2023-25 term.
Additionally, FEDORA Platform will be announcing the nominees for its Prizes Biennale – including the FEDORA Digital Prize, of which the IMZ is a proud partner! We will also co-host a panel with the EBU-European Broadcasting Union on “Sustainability + Classical Music TV,” which will include experts from the EBU, London Symphony Orchestra, KlimAktiv, NRK and RTP – drop in and hear some innovative approaches to making our industry more green!
Finally, we are particularly proud to join the EBU in bestowing the 2022 EBU-IMZ Outstanding Achievement Award: Established in 2017, it recognises excellence in music + dance in the audiovisual industry and has so far been presented to Brian Large, Bruno Monsaingeon, Anca-Monica Pandelea + Gabrielle Babin Gugenheim, Christopher Nupen and Peter Sellars.
Check out next month’s newsletter for an update on our new board and directorate, as well as the announcement of 2023’s EBU-IMZ Outstanding Achievement Award!
