Her enthusiasm is contagious: Anna Lapwood is the new face of an ancient instrument. Millions of followers watch the 30-year-old British musician on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube as she rehearses on the organ at night, captivated by her impressive concert arrangements both online and live. She repeatedly challenges the classical canon and devotes herself to popular and film music with the same dedication as Bach, Vierne, Poulenc, and contemporary composers. As an organist, conductor, educator, and BBC presenter, she uses her media presence specifically to promote diversity and musical education.

Invitations take Anna Lapwood to all the world's major organs. Just recently, the young musician caused a stir throughout Germany when tens of thousands of people flocked to Cologne Cathedral to listen to Lapwood's Organ Celebration. All upcoming performances in the country's most prestigious concert halls are completely sold out. A highlight is Anna Lapwood's return to the Elbphilharmonie, where she will play a varied program of film music and works by Einaudi, Britten, and Duruflé.

With a program spanning the music of the 20th and 21st centuries, from modern classical to film music, standard repertoire, and original arrangements, this concert evening impressively reflects the work and artistic range of Anna Lapwood.

Our multi-camera production will impressively convey the artistic and emotional intensity of the evening.
