An exceptional vocalist and great player of the sétâr, the Iranian lute, Sepideh Raissadat is a remarkable figure in the Iranian cultural landscape. At the age of twenty, she was one of the first women to perform on the great stages of her country since the Islamic revolution.
Today she joins the Khoshravesh brothers for an exceptional concert. These brothers, born in Mazandaran, a region in northern Iran, are also masters in the art of reviving the musical traditions of their country. They will be accompanied for the occasion by the percussionist Jérôme Salomon. For this concert, they will perform works by Iranian composer Reza Ghassemi.
