NHK Wins Rose d’Or Award in Arts Category
NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) secured the Rose d’Or Award in the Arts category for their documentary Ryuichi Sakamoto: Last Days, which explores the life and career of the famous composer.
The winners of the 63rd Rose d’Or Awards were unveiled during an elegant ceremony in London, hosted by comedian and writer Sophie Duker. This prestigious event celebrated exceptional achievements in television and online content, with major awards going to productions from Belgium, Norway, Italy, Japan, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
Gary Oldman received the Performance of the Year Award for his outstanding portrayal of Jackson Lamb in Slow Horses on Apple TV+. The Emerging Talent Award was presented to Ambika Mod for her captivating performance in Netflix’s romantic hit One Day. Additionally, the Lifetime Achievement Award honoured Rosario Fiorello for his remarkable career, which has shaped Italian TV entertainment for decades.
