Hilan Warshaw won the 2024 Southeast Emmy Award in Arts/Entertainment Long Form programming for his documentary/concert film My Bolero with Maestro Nathalie Stutzmann, commissioned by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. In the film, Stutzmann embarks on a personal quest to find out what lies at the heart of Ravel’s hypnotic masterpiece, filmed on location in Paris. Her journey culminates with the preparation and performance of a dramatically lit performance of "Boléro with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, incorporating new discoveries about the work.

“A fascinating re-evaluation of Ravel’s most enduring work, and a visually sumptuous trek to Stutzmann’s native France as she delves into the composition’s remarkable background.” – Jordan Owen, ArtsATL

On the same day, the film was also released on medici.tv, having been previously broadcast on PBS-Georgia Public Broadcasting.

medici.tv also streams three other musical documentaries directed and written by Warshaw: Wagner's Jews, Secret Song, and Through the Darkness.
