Mingle with Anna&Paul at Avant Première!
Get your funk on and let’s dance in the new year 2018! We’ll be Staying Alive while presenting Discofoot by Swedish production company Anna&Paul.
Produced together with SVT and French Ballet de Lorraine, Anna&Paul created Discofoot. An unusual, highly creative and fun project where dancers from the Ballet de Lorraine performed a choreographed football match on the town square in the French town Nancy, in September 2017.
Be sure to catch the screening at 17:00 on 20 February, and meet our reps from Anna&Paul, artistic leaders Tom Caley and Petter Jacobsson from Ballet de Lorraine and many of our Nordic friends during the Meet the North reception between 19:00-23:00 that same evening.
This year, we’ll be presenting a range of exciting new project we’ve been working on: an opera documentary called Dracula Backstage, filmed at the Swedish Royal Opera; a documentary about the Gothenburg Opera Dance Company, with a special focus on choreographer Sidi Larbi’s ICON tour of Europe; we’ll also present one of the Nordic countries biggest pop music show’s P3 Guld. We’ll be bringing with us fresh material from the most recent show on January 20 2018. During 2017, we also learned how creativity works. Together with world-renowned choreographer Alexander Ekman, we embarked on a journey resulting in a three-part show broadcast on SVT during the fall of 2017.
Please let us present you our showreel on February 18 at during Screening Block 1 from 11:00-13:30. Anna&Paul will be represented by Creative Director Magnus Berg and Executive Producer Anna Hellman.
