DIDN’T MAKE THE SHORTLIST? THERE IS STILL A CHANCE TO WIN A PRIZE!

Programmes that did not advance to the second round still have a chance to win an award.

WILD CARD: A SECOND CHANCE

Each juror may propose one Wild Card – a programme that did not make the shortlist but, in their view, deserves a second chance. Up to five Wild Cards may be proposed in total, with their inclusion in the second round decided collectively by the jury.

ADDITIONAL AWARDS

Even programmes that did not advance to the second round remain eligible for the following special prizes:

- CZECH TELEVISION PRIZE awarded by the Director General of Czech Television
- DAGMAR AND VÁCLAV HAVEL FOUNDATION VIZE 97 AWARD accompanied by a financial prize of CZK 50,000

Thank you to all the creators and producers who submitted their work to this year’s competition.

Congratulations to all the nominees – and best of luck to everyone still in the running!

We look forward to welcoming you to Prague from 23 to 26 September 2026.
