In May 2025, the Royal Concertgebouw will host the third Mahler Festival in its history. A grand tribute to the composer 105 years after the first edition.

Klaus Mäkelä, artistic partner of the Concertgebouw Orchestra since 2022 and future chief conductor from 2027, presents two sold out concerts where he will be conducting symphonies No. 1 and No. 8.
