IMZ to take part in OLA conference in Chile
The OLA Ópera Latinoamérica conference in Santiago, Chile, organised by the largest network of theatres in Ibero-America, is just around the corner, taking place from 17 to 20 November 2024.
We are excited to announce that Peter Maniura, Director of the IMZ Academy, will be attending, representing the IMZ International Music + Media Centre.

15:00 - 16:00 Panel discussion: "Creation, Production and Distribution. Optimising Technology: The Role of Technology and Creativity (AI, XR, VR, Video Games)"
This panel will focus on how technology has influenced the creative process. It will explore the evolving role of technology and creativity in the arts, highlighting innovations such as AI, XR, VR, and video games.
Peter will be joined by experts from various leading institutions, including Lauri Pokkinen and Hannu Järvensivu from the Finnish National Opera and Ballet, Natalia Camacho from Teatro Real, and John McIlduff, Artistic Director of Dumbworld. The panel will be moderated by Yalilé Cardona, Director of the Bogotá International Classical Music Festival.
16:05 - 17:00 Workshop: "Digital Creativity and Communication in Action"
The workshop will feature participants and case studies from Teatro Municipal, Santiago (Francisca Vasquez Calvo - Deputy Director of Commercial and Marketing) and Teatro Mayor, Bogotá, Colombia (Margarita Mora - Director of Marketing, Advertising, and Communications).
