IMZ Academy Session 2019: “The future of multi-camera live coverage of orchestral music”
Taking place on 12 April 2019 in the course of Karajan Music Tech Conference, Salzburg/Austria, this IMZ Academy Session evaluates the implications of new technologies for audiovisual music recordings and its impact on audience engagement.
In cooperation with Karajan Music Tech Conference, this IMZ Academy Session introduces the implications of innovative technologies for orchestral music recordings.
The session will be moderated by Matthias Röder (CEO at Eliette and Herbert von Karajan Institute) with expert speakers Johnny Laville (Digital Producer at BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra) and Alex Olegnowicz (CEO at Symmetcria Inc.) providing their unique insights.
After a look at the state-of-the-art technology used by BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the innovative digital strategies for classical music provided by Symmetrica Inc., the expert speakers will discuss how these technological advancements can open up new creative approaches + opportunities and how that will shape + define the future of audiovisual music recordings in the upcoming 5-7 years.
