The dancescreen 2019 Jury has made their decision: 9 out of over 200 international films were awarded for their outstanding achievements in dance filmmaking. We thank all participants in the competition as well as all of you joining us in Wuppertal! The dancescreen 2019 competition and film screenings sold 1.300 tickets to a fascinated audience. A widespread screen dance market attracted 300 dance and film professionals for progressive pitches, business talks and networking, exhibiting dance in virtual reality or artificial intelligence installations and inviting for peer exchange on an international level.
