Gala from Berlin 2024
To round off the year, star pianist Daniil Trifonov performs Brahms' virtuoso Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Berliner Philharmoniker & Kirill Petrenko.
The star pianist Daniil Trifonov performs Johannes Brahms' monumentally virtuoso Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Berliner Philharmoniker and Kirill Petrenko. This will be followed by two splendidly orchestrated dance works by Richard Strauss that are conceivably contradictory in expression: the charming waltzes from Der Rosenkavalier and Salome's Dance with its exhibitionistic, almost brutal sensuality.
