Eldbjørg Hemsing plays unique Digital Concert
In April Hemsing won the "Spellemannsprisen" for her latest album. The new digital concert for Oslo Quartet Series is now available.
Peiling Film & TV is really proud to work with Eldbjørg Hemsing again on this digital concert produced for Oslo Quartet Series. We congratulate Hemsing warmly as the fresh winner of the "Spellemannsprisen", often referred to as the Norwegian Grammy Awards, in the classical category. Included in the concert is her own piece "Homecoming" also featured in her award winning album with Simon Trpčeski.
Like in many cases during this pandemic, we had to move quickly if this production was to happen. We filmed less than a week after initial contact was made between the artist and Oslo Quartet Series.
The digital concert was recorded in the studio of the Finnish-Norwegian visual artist Irma Salo Jæger, and her art is the framework for the music throughout the concert.
Pieces in the digital concert:
Øistein Sommerfeldt: Sonata Saxifraga
Edvard Grieg: Last Spring
Eldbjørg Hemsing: Homecoming
J.S Bach: Chaconne From D-Minor Partita
Recording date 23.03.2021
Executive Producer Kaja Bjørntvedt, Oslo Quartet Series
Director Anders Lindstad
Camera Klaus Rødahl
Sound Engineer Asle Karstad
Light Design Stian Elton
