Brad Mehldau, a leading voice in contemporary jazz piano, returns to Nancy Jazz Pulsations with his new trio. Known for blending classical romanticism with the allure of popular music, Mehldau has earned critical acclaim as a bandleader and widespread international recognition. His inventive reinterpretations of songs by The Beatles, Radiohead, Cole Porter, and Paul Simon, along with his own original compositions, have made him a favorite among jazz purists and modern music enthusiasts alike.
At this year's festival, Mehldau is joined by his longtime collaborator Jorge Rossy on drums and talented double bassist Felix Moseholm, promising an unforgettable performance that seamlessly melds musical genres and showcases his exceptional artistry.
