A Changing of the Guard at the IMZ
We bid au revoir – not adieu – to two of our longstanding colleagues and say hello to two new ones!
As always, life finds a way – it is with a wistful smile that we at the IMZ say a temporary goodbye to two of our longest-serving teammates, Claudia Kruzik + Sophie Schneider, who are both going on maternity leave until 2023.
Longtime members and cooperation partners have undoubtedly heard those names before – for many years, Claudia managed dancescreen and our Music Film Festival repertoire as well as the Fedora Digital Prize, while Sophie was best known for being behind the success of our IMZ Academies, as well as the conference programme at Avant Première. Their duties will be taken over by our new teammates Antonius Widmann and Max Güntert. Both are highly qualified and motivated: Antonius boasts a background as a composer and choirmaster while Max is a highly capable project manager who previously worked in the theatre world.
We thank Claudia and Sophie for all their hard work; we could not have asked for better or more dedicated colleagues! We wish the two new mothers all the best in this new chapter of their lives and can’t wait to welcome them back soon! In the meantime, we are delighted to have Antonius and Max on our team and expect great things!
