As Secretary General of the IMZ International Music + Media Centre, Katharina Jeschke is a curator, developer and host of music film festivals and competitions worldwide. She is also the programme developer of Avant Première Music + Media Market Berlin, the international trade fair presenting the latest music film productions for international broadcasting and production, and the heart of the IMZ.
In the Austrian podcast "365 – Über Medien reden", Katharina Jeschke talks to the Austrian journalist, lecturer and TV + film producer Golli Marboe. Together, they evaluate why Avant Première 2021 was successfully transformed to the digital sphere due to Covid-19 health regulations, and what challenges virtual communication poses for subtle cultural issues.
In addition to giving insights into industry trends, Katharina Jeschke also spills the beans on the IMZ's other fields of activity, such as the IMZ Academy + the IMZ Online Services, the digital B2B licence trading platform which is currently entering the Beta Testing Phase.
