Viennese Opera Ball in New York celebrates 70th Anniversary
We are pleased to announce that the Viennese Opera Ball in New York will celebrate its 70th Anniversary on May 8, 2026 at the iconic Cipriani 42nd Street.
This year’s Ball promises to be particularly memorable, featuring an exceptional artistic program with world-renowned opera stars, including soprano and two-time Grammy Award winner Angel Blue, soprano Hera Hyesang Park, tenor Adam Smith, tenor and Grammy-nominee Lawrence Brownlee, and soprano Golda Zahra. We are also honored to present a special ballet performance by prima ballerina Liudmila Konovalova, principal dancer of the Vienna State Opera. The evening will, of course, include the traditional presentation of debutantes, an elegant four-course dinner, the Midnight Quadrille, and a festive after-party.
Since 1955, the Ball has served as a distinguished platform for Austrian-American economic and cultural relations, celebrating international friendship, tradition and musical excellence. The evening brings together an international audience of corporate leaders, diplomats, dignitaries, and philanthropists, and offers a unique opportunity to strengthen transatlantic connections, cultivate long-standing relationships, and engage with the global business community in an exclusive setting.
