Grafenegg’s Grand Festival Opening Concert will be livestreamed on fidelio.

This year’s festival opening in Grafenegg offers four seasons on one summer night. Sarah Chang and the Tonkünstler Orchestra will open the grand festival with Vivaldi’s masterpiece “The four seasons”. Subsequently, we will hear the almost forgotten but beautiful Victorian piece by Mendelsson Bartholdy «Hear My Prayer», interpreted by soprano Camilla Nylund. Finally, Stravinsky’s grand “Symphony of Psalms” will be performed and Composer in Residence Peter Ruzicka will contribute the traditional opening fanfare.
