UMK is Finland’s biggest music show and one of the most beloved European national selections for the world’s biggest music program - the Eurovision Song Contest. As a music show, UMK has become a European forerunner of the 2020’s. It’s an electric live show featuring 7 competing acts with brand new songs. The contest culminates in live performances by each artist as well as jaw-dropping interval acts by special guests. Each performance is designed by an international creative team.

UMK enjoys a strongly engaged core fanbase, both domestically and across borders. In addition to its massive TV and online audiences, the contest has brought previously unknown acts to the international limelight and produced #1 hits for Spotify, YouTube and radio charts. Today, the show is Finland’s go-to launchpad for new music and talent, introducing the artists to millions - particularly young viewers. Ultimately, UMK offers more than just chart-topping music and eye-catching performances - it is a European experience that international audiences have come to love.
