TANZtheater INTERNATIONAL 2018
Summer time is festival time: The contemporary dance festival TANZtheater INTERNATIONAL will present its 33rd edition from 30 August to 8 September 2018 at various venues in Hanover, Germany. The festival’s main venue is the Orangerie Herrenhausen, located in Hanover’s famous historical Royal gardens.
TANZtheater INTERNATIONAL 2018 will present eight international dance companies with cutting-edge productions:
Kyle Abraham/ A.I.M (USA), COMMEDIA FUTURA (DE), Siamese Cie/ Koen Augustijnen & Rosalba Torres Guerrero (BE), Hofesh Shechter/ Shechter II (UK), Black Sheep (FR), Daniel Léveillé Danse (CA), Hungry Sharks (AT) and ALDES/ Roberto Castello (IT).
Additionally, there will be world premieres by three emerging young choreographers, Yotam Peled (DE/IL), Lucyna Zwolinska (DE/PL) and Marioenrico D’Angelo (DE/IT), chosen for the “Think Big 2018” artists residency programme in Hanover.
