Set against the timeless silhouette of Torre de Belém, this open-air concert brings together dazzling virtuosity and orchestral brilliance. Rising piano star Bruce Liu captivates with Tchaikovsky’s monumental Piano Concerto No. 1, combining breathtaking technique with remarkable musical imagination. On the podium, Hannu Lintu, celebrated for his commanding interpretations and international career, leads a vibrant journey through Sibelius’ stirring Finlandia, Luís de Freitas Branco’s colourful Scherzo fantastique, and Rimsky Korsakov’s sparkling Capriccio espagnol.
